Hello and welcome to Drumgoon Dairies home on the world wide web. This is our new site which we our currently working on. We hope this site will be better than the previous one and more user-friendly. We are still figuring out how to use all the new technology and given that we are farmers, patience will be required. My name is Rodney Elliott and I own and run Drumgoon Dairy with my Wife Dorothy. I stick to the cows and she sticks to the books. We moved to South Dakota after living and milking in Northern Ireland for 23 years building up from a dozen cows I bought when I was 18 to the 150 cows I had when I decided to leave the homeland. I know have upwards of 3000 head in the States and a few more headaches. Although I don't do all the work myself I rely on my crack squad of farming professional. We hope to tell you a little bit about those individuals in the future on the new blog we plan to start quite soon. To conclude I hope you enjoy the new website and hope it brings us more followers and friends. To conclude I hope you follow us on here as we hope to keep everyone more informed about what is going on. |
